The next generation version of Nike’s FuelBand – the FuelBand SE – is now available for purchase online from the Apple Store, following its reveal back in October.
The hotly-anticipated FuelBand SE brings several new features over the first version, including hourly goals, sessions, and the ability to track your wrist movements more precisely, in a range of stylish new colours. The price has remained steady too, with Nike making it available for $149/£129 from today.

Apple and Nike have had a close relationship for quite some time, so it only makes sense for the FuelBand SE to go to the Apple Online Store first. “NikeFuel is a single, universal way to measure all kinds of activities – from your morning workout to your big night out,” the company explained. “This uniquely designed metric applies to whole-body movement no matter your age, weight or gender.”
However, as we’ve highlighted previously, this tight partnership means that there is no room for Android compatibility with the FuelBand SE yet.
Interestingly though, FourSquare has also announced it will be joining the two, using tracking data to help predict popular areas and make suggestions of places you might like to be at certain times on the FuelBand SE.
Nike revealed in October that current Nike FuelBand users will also be getting a host of new features alongside those detailed for the Nike FuelBand SE model that has just landed, which we’re eager to see.
So if you’re interested in getting your hands on Nike’s new wearable, get on over to the Apple Store now, before the devices hopefully go on wider sale soon.
