We’ve been great fans of Pebble’s innovative smartwatch in the past, as it features good interactivity and linking options to other useful apps.
It seems that the company is looking to build on their strong existing position by releasing a new and updated device at this week’s CES show in Las Vegas.

Could this be the launch of the new smartwatch?
Pebble teased a special announcement by CEO Eric Migicovsky today, although there are no words on the product or service yet, most signs point to a new smartwatch
The original Pebble watch is about a year old now, and in the face of growing competition, a second-generation device seems probable.
Pebble also recently announced the arrival of an upcoming app store, so it does make sense to introduce a new smartwatch that supports it to the fullest.
The announcement will be made on Monday, January 6 by its CEO Migikovsky and streamed live directly on the company’s official website at 11 AM Pacific (2 PM Eastern).
This is the second time in a row that the company takes advantage of the stage at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). During last year’s show, it announced the expected date of shipment of its first watch, funded through the Kickstarter platform.
We’ll look forward to the announcement with interest.
